Kim + Aaron | Longue Vue Club Wedding Photos

I’m so excited to share this amazing wedding! Kim & Aaron (great name, btw) are so incredibly nice and I’ve been looking forward to their wedding ever since I first spoke to them. They were marred at Church of the Assumption in Bellevue for their ceremony, then headed to Longue Vue Club for their photos and reception. Kim & Aaron both made my job super easy. Here are a few words from them about how they met:

Kimmy hosted a river tubing trip to celebrate her birthday. Because we have mutual friends, Aaron was also on the trip. Aaron and Kimmy might have crossed paths on New Year’s Eve years before, but didn’t realize it until sharing stories much later on in their relationship. They officially met on the bus ride home from the tubing trip. Luckily, Kimmy decided to sit next to Aaron…probably because it was the only seat left ;) and the rest is history! To this day, Aaron still considers himself the luckiest man in the world that Kimmy chose to sit in that seat.

We have a rock in Georgetown along the Potomac River. A spot where we chose to sit one day and talked for hours. Aaron knew he wanted to propose to Kimmy at a special place and our rock held a special place in both of our hearts. On July 27, 2019, Kimmy’s parents and Aaron’s parents went out to brunch to celebrate Kimmy’s birthday (or so they thought). Our parents were actually meeting for the first time, which was special enough. After brunch, Aaron “convinced” Kimmy and our parents to go on a walk to see our rock and the nice views along the river. When posing for a picture, Aaron pretended to tie his shoe, got down on one knee, and proposed to Kimmy. Kimmy was surprised, and through tear-filled eyes, she said “yes” (sort of). She actually just kept saying “Seriously?” but did shake her head “yes” and sealed it with a kiss!
