There are some weddings you just really look forward to for a variety of reasons, and Heidi and Will’s was certainly one of these. For starters, they were married at Old Saint Luke’s Church in Carnegie, an historic little chapel built in 1765, but it’s also where my wife and I were married. It’s a beautiful church, but more than that it has a lot of sentimental value. Next, it’s a fall wedding and I LOVE me some fall weddings; it’s my absolute favorite season. Their reception was at Pittsburgh Opera which I was dyyyying to shoot at and it didn’t disappoint, it’s such an amazing industrial venue, which Pittsburgh needs more of. Finally, there were food stations catered by Big Burrito. YUM. A food coma has never felt so wonderful at a wedding. As amazing as all of the aforementioned things were, the highlight of the day was Heidi and Will. They are one of the sweetest and genuinely nice couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with. This post is definitely an overshare…I loved too many photos. Here are just some of my favorites from their Old Saint Luke’s Church and Pittsburgh Opera wedding!
