Hey There

Hello! I’m Aaron. I’m a wedding photographer, dad of two, beer lover, travel enthusiast, and all-around computer geek that has been photographing weddings in the Pittsburgh area for over 15 years. I photographed my first wedding not knowing what my style or approach was going to be. I quickly realized that providing the best possible experience was my #1 priority, not just on the wedding day itself, but from the moment we begin working together. Your photography experience should be completely stress free and fun! My second priority is creating amazing photos. I try very hard to create stunning, epic photos that make you stop and say “….Woah”.

My style is crisp and colorful. It’s stunning, bold, modern, and creative, yet fun and – most importantly – timeless. I don’t believe in giving in to all the current fads (think vintage-y or Instagram-like filters, everything black and white except flowers, etc.) I want your grandchildren to look through your wedding album and appreciate how great you looked and the story of your wedding day, not the goofy style of photos. I’m passionate about creating great photos. Photos that jump off the screen. Photos that you don’t see over and over again on every styled wedding blog. Photos that your friends don’t have. Epic, stunning, incredible images that really give a “wow” factor. All I need is a few minutes at the right time to create something unique and amazing for you.

"BUt I'm so awkward in photoS!" Nope. Not buying it.

My approach is for you to have fun and be relaxed! “I’m so awkward in photos”. “I’m not a model and don’t know what to do.” Guest what!? I’m super awkward in front of the camera too, and – SPOILER ALERT – I’m not a model either. I know from experience how daunting being photographed can be, so I really try hard to take all of that stress and anxiety away. I take a candid and photojournalistic approach to many things (prep, ceremony, reception, etc.), but to make my portrait magic I give some direction. Not everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera, so I use my experience and unique expertise (and hilarious sense of humor and dad jokes) to help create incredible images. Of course, you’re going to look great on your wedding day, which I'll highlight. But I also want to capture how much fun you had. Amazing photographs are made with beautiful light, flattering posing, and being at ease. I’ll make you look incredible and tell the story of your day, all while providing a fun and laid-back experience.
